well guys stop being so negative the reason that we managed to climb up the table so far is ranieri, its not like that he is a bad coach but he just doesn't have the right players
sure he knows how to play 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1/4-3-1-2/4-1-4-1/4-3-3 etc
so far he tried everything to find the right solution, I'm sorry but our central midfield is not as good as mow days to play a 4-2-3-1
those systems and formations either need a very good central midfielder or a couple of wingers
- i don't like pazzini he reminds me of pippo inzaghi ;)
- i still think that milito is doing a great job
- BTW nagatomo is 10 times better than maicon, we should have sold him last year and put naga in the right back position (he played brilliantly against CSKA as RB)
so far i think 4-3-2-1 against napoli in 2nd half was the best formation that we had, with alvarez and sneijder in support of either milito or castaignos (no pazzo)
but if we wanna be effective with that then we better get freddy guarin ASAP

Yeah, this kind of defeat was bound to come. We were actaully lucky against Lazio last week. And what has really annoyed me for the past 2 years is indeicion of the management. If Moratti cannot figure out what kind of a team he wants with the limited budget, he'd better hire a more competent sporting director and technical director and let them do the work. There seems to be a serious communication problem with the management and coach as well. Ranieri has his own problems with his tactics, but it seems that he does not know what to expect with regard to squad reinforcement. If the management is not going to buy him a winger or a versatile attacker, they should at least assure Ranieri he can still keep what options he has available now.

I expect Chivu, Muntari, Cordoba will be definitely out in summer. Stankovic is likely to stay with a massive reduction of his wage. I wish they could also find a way to offload Milito when he can still bag some goals -- he will do well in the likes of Genoa or Parma. If they don't want to buy a winger, they might consider selling Pazzini as well. I'm not saying Pazzini is bad, but our team does not have the resource to make the best out of him.

Regarding Nagatomo, up to this point, his service has been very cost-effective. I don't expect him to grow to be a top left back. Yet he remains to be a very good option for our team. (And he is only 25.)

ahmad, there are many things wrong with Inter right now. From the management to those bandwagoners in the name of the so called fans that have no clue what's going on, only jumping on and off the management, coach and players bandwagons when things are on and off the track. This team is playing like this for a long time and many when the team win forget everything else and stick only to the 3 point grabbed, no matter how they have been earned. This lousy attitude may continue for sometimes, even get you titles, but for how long? What's the project behind this? Playing super defensive against small teams, playing cautious with very few attacking players against weaker sides only come from a small club. It's a small club attitude, not Inter that is a big club and should represent a big club's image.

Regarding Coutinho, does it really matter if he stays or go? He barely gets any minutes of play and he's righfully asking for a transfer so he doesn't miss out on the Olympics.

OMG.. how can this be true, we just won 4-1 at home againgst this shit team.. Either Pazzo play or Milito.. not bouth.. When we need a GOAL or GOALS then take Zanetti or Cambiasso OUT.. NOT SNEIJDER!!! he lost the game when he took him out.. WTF just happend with Maicon, just when you think hes back at best he flops 2 games in a rou,, Please sell some of the usless players we have , i cant stand looking at them.. get some money and buy some quality!!!! I hope Guardiola is coming soon.. i like his ideas.. a team like udinese is playing way better then inter this season, i just pray for god that we will get the 3place.. fuck this shit!!

Marc I will remove Nagatomo from that list but I agree with the rest of the names. Nagatomo doesn't have a big wage, is not old and is quiet good I can say for what he earns. Plus he sells lots of shirts in Japan too, so that could be a financial help for the club as well. I've never been a big fan of Nagatomo, but comparing him to the rest of the players he's surely deserves to stay.

the problem is ranieri doesnt like coutinho, you can see, when he play brilliantly in one game and the next game he will be on the bench all the time. Ranieri doesnt believe in coutinho at all, so what's the point with keeping a player who doesnt have the trust by the manager.

Dont get me wrong, I love Couthinho, and I beliieve he can become good, however, if the management didnt trust him, he will lose all his mentality automatically. He will not become a good player if he stay at inter. Maybe thats why Inter is hardly to create a young player to become world class.

btw, is it possible to cancel the loan of coutinho? is it really a final deal that he will go to espanyol? i have to say this onece again, our main and very basic problem is ball possesion and we are quite good at defense.moreover, our best target is champion league, right? so why dont we try to push a bit on offense tactic?. i dont see the current team able to compete for scudetto. but, if it happen, that really would be a miracle.

I completely agree Chainsaw. Even though the whole match was played in Lecce's half, it was very clear there is no creativity going forward for Inter. Once they are attacking, they continually play while standing still. There is no movement off the ball. The main reason is because this team is old and stale.

Players who don't quite make the cut anymore (or never did) include:
Cordoba
Stankovic
Maicon
Milito
Chivu
Nagatomo
Muntari

Those players represent a huge wage bill and income if they are sold. I would prefer to see a complete rebuilding project than to just try to do it half-assed. That's exactly what has happened since the treble.

When you see the club doesn't do anything for 29 days in the mercato you need to realize that they are really struggling to set a project straight and understand this team's needs and problems. It's not a manner of lack of money anymore, it's indeed the mismanagement of the team. Money could easily be found by selling lots of the players that are a part of the current squad, earning big wages, aging big time and have the impact of an average player. What exactly is the point of keeping these players in the team?! I like to really hear the answer from Moratti and Branca. Why you say you have no money to spend while keeping all these aged players with huge salaries in the team, who can do nothing when the team is in trouble?!

i dont like ranier's 4-4-2. this formation in many ways are far incompatible with palyer's ability. how long this coach need time to realise it? fuck him. obi is a telented player, but he make too may wrong passes.alvarez likes being in the middle than on the flank. why the hell he replaced sneijder? obi should have been out for alvarez. it was a atupid idea to put zarate on the left wing. we needed more strikers at that time for gad sake!!!!! and where the fuck is coutinho???? basically, i never expect too much from inter this season. we are totally suck at ball possesion. we can;t even pass the ball like a real offensive tactic. i really belive that we should paly two playmakers at the same time. can we just have a coach who dare to apply offensive strategy. we just paly against lecce but with as exxagerating caution from being conceded. is there anyone in inter who can buy a player who can control and manage our midfield? hey, no one touches montolivo!!! we need a plyaer like him..enough with ranieri. it has to be his last season. i really dislike the way his manage this team.
