Goran Pandev is already being considered as an Inter player after he won his legal case against Lazio yesterday.  After successfully rescinding his Biancocelesti contract, free agent Pandev is understood to be assessing his options.  Nevertheless, widespread reports in Italy on Thursday morning are suggesting that he’s all set to agree a deal with the Nerazzurri.  Despite interest from Juventus, Milan and Napoli, the Macedonian will in all probability re-sign for the club he left in 2004.  Whispers in the peninsula are suggesting that the striker will undergo his Inter medical on December 28 or 29.  It’s also understood that a basic agreement has been decided with only a few minor details to iron out before the move can be made official.

Pandev, who will answer Jose Mourinho’s recent request that he wanted a new forward in January, will commit to Inter until 2013 or 2014.  In terms of salary, he’s expected to net just under £3m a season in his first year with that figure rising on an annual basis.  It’s also understood that Inter chief Massimo Moratti may offer Lazio the loans of a few Inter youngsters as a goodwill gesture.  Pandev, who was contracted to Lazio until the summer, took action against the Olimpico outfit after being frozen out of the squad for failing to renew his deal.
