Frustration Of Ibrahimovic At Camp Nou: "If Inter Win The Champions League, Shoot Me"

Posted by anonymous on May 28, 2010 at 1:42 PM

Inter fans have been asking for days now how Zlatan Ibrahimovic responded to the treble won by his former team.  The answer was given by the Catalan newspaper, Sport, which reveals a dramatic background to some extend after the semi-final return leg at the Camp Nou.

After the game, while the Inter players were celebrating in the midst of the sprinklers, Ibrahimoivic was very furious in the dressing room, a nightmare that he saw materializing on the horizon.  He vented his frustration by symbolic phrase: "If Inter win the Champions League, shoot me," he shouted Ibrahimoivic, surprised even his teammates.

On the other hand, Mino Raiola, his agent, also confirmed that Inter being on top of Europe has shaken the soul of Ibrahimovic, perhaps regretted a decision that proved wrong from all points of view.  Ibra has not only won the Champions League, but while Zanetti lifted the Cup he was relegated to the bench by Bojan Krkic.

As stated by Sport, Ibra still couldn't overcome the disappointment for the mistake he did last summer.

==========

If had Ibra stayed, then we wouldn't win the CL.  So either way, Ibra still has to wait for at least another year.

Thank you for Eto'o, Sneijder, Lucio, Motta and Milito.

Yeah, Maxwell was a bargain for Barca and he proved his worth with many starts this year. I think Guardiola sees Abidal as better, but Barca don't lose much when Maxwell plays in my opinion.

i think were all over looking the fact that if ibra stayed milito would not have started as our striker.. he could have been pushed back into an eto'o type rol where clearly he doesn't belong. all that would have created was another season where ibra was up top doing nothing in the big CL matches, where now we have the most clinical striker in europe on our side sinking teams with his finishing abilities. on top of all that you have to remember that ibra is a virus to your lockeroom and i wont even get into what probably could have happened to the chemistry to the team if he stayed.. i have no regrets about selling him and clearly it worked out for the best.

and Recoba,now he was a real mastermind (and my favorite player) :D

@ Marc: You think Moratti didn`t have the money to buy Eto`o,Sneijder,Lucio and Milito,if Ibrahimovic stayed ? We won almost everything for 5 years now...cup,scudetto,tv rights,etc,com`on ..... About Maxwell,I am still can`t believe the transfer sum,4.5 mil for Maxwell...from my point of view he`s better then Chivu or Burdisso. Burdisso transfer price is 10 mil (for Roma) and Chivu has a market value of at least 15 mil. I don`t get it...

No way Inter would have won the CL if Ibra had stayed. Sneijder, Eto'o and other key additions to the squad only became possible because of the huge sum Barca paid to get Ibra. He probably was pissed. I'm sure Maxwell felt the same way, but since he is humble no one is saying anything about him. It's all in the delivery.

i thank that if Ibra stayed at Inter...it would have been a litlle easier to win the Scudetto...maybe not the Champions League but the Scudetto for sure.
WHAT IFF....last year,in the transfer period,we have bough Milito and Eto`o....keeping Ibra and already having Balotelli in the squad. 4 strikers of quality....I the winter NOT buying Pandev (let`s face it...he`s not that good...). So instead of having Milito,Eto`o,Pandev and Balotelli....we have had Milito,Eto`o,Ibrahimovic and Balotelli.

I am still thankfull for what Ibra had done for us at Inter,but it`s not my fault that he`s stupid...I was sad when he left,I still think that he`s better than Eto`o (IN ITALY,Ibra has done a lot more),and I also feel bad for him (not much,honestly,but...)
