"Vasco da Gama have asked us, but we want to keep him," said Marco Branca.

Early afternoon yesterday, a few hours before scheduled, was the arrival of the talented Brazilian Philippe Coutinho from Vasco da Gama and now he will be available for Benitez.  The Brazilian in an interview with Inter Channel said: "I am very pleased to come to Inter, a great team.  In Brazil, I watched all the games and now it is a dream to play in the Nerazzurri shirt."  Marco Branca, also has a few important words to say about Coutinho.  "Vasco da Gama wanted to him back.  In fact they asked for a loan but we didn't accept.  He is a good player but must have time to grow," concluded the Inter technical director.
