Moratti To Seek Acquittal On The Case Of Milito-Motta

The president wants a clean image, so tomorrow he will leave Palazzi to clarify his reasons.

In recent years, other clubs have tried to tarnish the image of Inter and pull it down to one pot of all guilty.  They've tried everything and the latest game was the case of Motta, Milito and their contracts of which we've talked several times to clarify the absurdity of the proceedings.  The issue got erupted because president Massimo Moratti, supposedly, dealt directly with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi for the passage to Inter of the two players when Preziosi is banned for 5 years.  The penalty came out on July 10 for Inter was a suspension of 3 months for president Moratti and a fine of 45,000 euros for Inter.  The Inter number one was rightly so angry on the next day, and he showed his disappointment and anger from Forte dei Marmi where he spent a few days on holiday.  The president was in fact has never met Enrico Preziosi during negotiations and more importantly he never signed any contract as he was accused of.  Sources also confirmed to Sky Sport that there was no contact between the two presidents, let alone signing contracts.

The anger of Moratti is legitimate and triggered by the fact that despite the sanctions, he is not guilty of anything and wants to go out with an absolutely clean image for himself and for Inter.  "Mourinho was right," said Moratti after the sentence.  "Only he could escape from Italy and I can't."  So tomorrow will be a very important day for this story.  President will be presented before the Federal Court and the prosecutor Stefano Palazzi to deal with this case and give his version of the facts and to take a serious position in a case that penalized the European Champions.  The day of reckoning will come.  Inter want justice, Moratti above all.
