Serie A: Inter 2-0 Chievo

Posted by anonymous on April 9, 2011 at 1:48 PM

vs.

Well, that was better.  We are finally at the end of a nightmare.

Nagatomo was fantastic for us.  Definitely my man of the match.  He was solid defensively and great at attacking on the left.  He created havoc on the left side the entire game.  We better buy this guy in the summer because 4 million for him is a steal.

Ranocchia with Lucio alongside him was good.  I know this is Chievo but still he did have a good performance.

Moratti was at the game today and he looked pissed off.  I didn't see a smile on his face even when we scored so hopefully that is a sign that changes are coming this summer.

FORZA INTER.

Ya I remember that ONE play now. Ranocchia passed the ball but it hit the guy in the back. Accidental.

Enough talk about Ranocchia. How about Nagatomo? Why haven't we bought this guy fully yet? Yes we need him on the left against Schalke.

I think, I know why did they said that Ranocchia was sucks yesterday. On the first half, he did a mistake (did you remember when Moscardelli steal the ball from Ranocchia and then taken a shot!?). But guys, you can't rate a performance by a mistake, you should rate it from entire performance that he did.
I'm happy to see Inter get 3 point with a clean sheet yesterday. And I hope Nagatomo will do the same performance on the next wednesday at Schalke.

Ranocchia is our future. He needs to train more to bcome the next Nesta. No doubt, he's slow. But alongside experienced CB such as Lucio, Samuel, Materazzi, Cordoba, he could be one of the best CB in the world. Lucio and Cordoba must help him with speed, definitely. But I think, Cordoba and Materazzi for the next season, must be retired, and just bcome a coach/staff. Inter needs to buy a CB with good speed, concentration, and of course, a young one, maybe 23-27yo will be perfect.

Don't forget Rannochia is not 100% either. He has been playing through the pain since the first Bayern game. Before then he was also much better.

Exactly, he's been having problems with his right knee. He is trying to play because he knows how much of a horror show it will be with Cordoba or Materazzi playing.

If it's a handball shoulda been a pk on Perotta for trying to impede his jump. Maybe I'm just bitter when it comes to roma after all the crap they've spewed our way over last few years.

No idea how the ref could rule out that late udinese goal. Swear every arbitro should be loaded on a container ship and let it sink at sea.

However probably better for us in the long run.

Ridiculous finish between Udinese and Roma. What a game. I was rooting for Roma *throwing up in my mouth* because a win for them is also good for us.

This will give them more hope so therefore they can still have something to play for against Milan. While for Udinese, it's tighter for them so same thing applies in terms of facing Milan.

Well said SacTown and NErd. Ranocchia is a young player who needs experience. I could personally care less if he's Italian. If he can become Lucio, then I'm fine with that. Nice win today, it was much needed.

Ranocchia is the best option in defence right now for inter. look at the bench and have another second to reconsider your criticism. would you rather play materazzi or cordoba??!?!

same game as you. and everybody hype him up because he's italian. check the ratings on inter.it. he got the poorest ratings of the defensive line.

So what if he has the lowest score. Lowest score doesn't mean bad score. For example: 8 is lower than 9 and 10 but 8 is a good score.

Great bunch of fans we got here. Criticizing a player who had a good game. He's young, he needs the match experience to grow. Like it or not the management have chosen him to be part of inter's future and he needs the fans to support him. First half of the season he was arguably one of if not the best cb's in Serie A at Genoa. I think he's suffered more from the chopping and changing of the defense more then anyone. Yes he's had shaky moments, but he's also made numerous vital stops and tackles. We're in a tough spot, the players need our support, not ridicule.

Dude what game were you watching? Rannocchia was in fine form today. The only problem was Maicon who looked shady on defense.

Fact: Ranocchia was good before the Milan derby.
Fact: EVERYBODY sucked against Milan and Schalke.

I agree with everything except that Ranocchia did have a good performance. I really think this guy is a security risk at the end. He looks too unexperienced and unsecure.
