Italian Cup: Roma 0-1 Inter

Posted by anonymous on April 19, 2011 at 2:07 PM

vs.

Ha, we won.  We actually won and there's actually a team that worse than us.  A positive game for us I though but that maybe because Roma were shit.

A few thoughts:

Lucio was rock solid in the back and it seems like he got everything in the box.

Milito was useless and did absolutely nothing other than his offsides that screwed up our attacks.

Obi, in just a few minutes, I thought did great.  He was cool, calm and collected for his age and MUST have more playing time.

Hopefully this will give us a push for the final stage of the season.  We need to secure that 2nd or 3rd spot.  FORZA INTER

VM says...
It's good we won, but we won because Roma was shit and because they are trained by Montella, a coach who is even worse than Leonardo.

I agree, we didn't necessarily play that good, it was as the blogger says we just met a team that was even worse. Milan is probably going to meet us in the final...that if we beat roma at home next time.

And how can I forgot the freaking goal? Great goal by Deki. He has always had a knack of scoring great goals.

HAHAHA This thread is funny. You guys all sound like rats leaving a sinking ship. I'd bet that most of you don't even remember the days when Inter won nothing but their fans still supported the club. Moratti and Branca will straighten things out. They always do. No club can get it right 100% of the time. Everyone knew that following up a once-in-a-lifetime year would be difficult. Combine that with a very old squad and you have major frustration. This summer Inter will be very active. Rebuilding almost always hurts, but it's a necessary cycle.

i have got a question: is it just on me or inter does always win with pandev? he doesnt play really great on offense but defencively he is like stabilzing the team a bit... today he helped at the defence, too.

How many times have I told these Ranocchia haters that we fucking have Cordoba, Materazzi and maybe Chivu as our next options? Do you haters want to see those guys play ahead of Ranocchia?

Besides, I don't see anybody blaming Lucio for leaving Vucinic WIDE OPEN at the start of the game. Fortunately, Vucinic missed that sitter.

Typical Rannochia move in stoppage time where he passed the ball straight to a Roma player and almost cost us a goal. Amazing how that guy is useless with his feet.

call me crazy, but i kinda like how they play today... theres no offense, but the defence is pretty solid... and as we know: defence wins against offense... i would have loved to see coutinho besides milito, but leonardo has no trust in him, that idiot...
most important today is to bring a draw or a win home... forza inter!!

I really hope we get a 0-7-defeat. Moratti has to see that Leonardo is a dirty motherfu**er and needs to go home!
I'm not going to watch that match. Have a nice day.
